Scott Barnes

Scott is TAB Bank’s Vice President and Business Development Officer based in Dallas.  Scott has years of experience in providing funding solutions for small and medium-sized businesses while also developing strategic partnerships with capital providers and other centers of influence.

In a career spanning more than two decades, Scott has served the lower and middle markets in diverse roles from finance to operations and business development.  He has worked with a wide range of organizations from start-ups to publicly held Fortune 500 companies.  Previously as Vice President of Comerica Bank’s Technology and Life Sciences Division, he was responsible for developing and managing loan and deposit relationships with clients from many states.  Scott has also been an entrepreneur himself founding a boutique investment bank and a management consulting firm while also owning and operating a food services business.

Scott is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Baylor University and an MBA with concentrations in accounting and finance from Dallas Baptist University.
